Care Provider Recognition Program honors healthcare providers delivering strong health outcomes and high-quality care.
Amerigroup Community Care of Georgia has recognized Peds Care, P.C. of Dalton as one of the nation’s top-performing primary care practices through its second annual Care Provider Recognition Program.
Of more than 7,200 primary care practices across the country, Peds Care was among only 44 recognized through the program and one of just two practices recognized in Georgia. Honorees were selected based on several key health measures, including preventive care screenings, immunization rates, chronic disease management, medication adherence, and other health outcomes indicators.
“The Care Provider Recognition Program reflects Amerigroup Georgia’s commitment to recognizing provider partners like Peds Care who are helping improve the health of our members and the communities we serve,” said Mel Lindsey, President of Amerigroup Georgia. “Their achievement highlights the strength of the provider network our members rely on every day.”
Founded in 1989, Peds Care provides comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Dalton and surrounding communities. The practice is committed to supporting the health and development of children through compassionate care, ongoing education, and strong partnerships with families.
